Ngubu is a satirical character born of the fictional football club Norf FC, a popular meme on 4chan’s /pol/ and /sp/ boards. He represents an ironic blend of traits that highlight the often absurd nature of football fandom.
Ngubu is depicted as the star player for Norf FC – or in this case, Base FC, a football club in an impoverished working-class Northern English town.
